Vietnam parliament opens extraordinary session to review apparatus restructuring

During the 8-day session, legislators will review and pass the drafts of the revised law on amendments and supplements to the Law on organization of the NA, the revised Law on organization of the Government, and the revised Law on promulgation of legal documents.

Other drafts to be mulled over and approved include several NA resolutions on state apparatus restructuring issues, the organization of NA agencies, the number of members in the 15th NA’s Standing Committee, and the Government’s organizational structure and the number of members of the Government in the NA’s 15th term.

• Các dự thảo khác sẽ được xem xét và thông qua bao gồm một số nghị quyết của Quốc hội về các vấn đề tái cấu trúc bộ máy nhà nước, tổ chức các cơ quan của Quốc hội, số lượng thành viên trong Ủy ban Thường vụ Quốc hội khóa XV, cơ cấu tổ chức của Chính phủ và số lượng thành viên Chính phủ trong nhiệm kỳ Quốc hội khóa XV.

The legislature will also opine and make decisions on personnel matters within its jurisdiction.

• Quốc hội cũng sẽ thảo luận và quyết định về các vấn đề nhân sự thuộc thẩm quyền của mình.

Additionally, the session will focus on key economic and infrastructure issues, including adjustments to the country's 2025 socio-economic development plan, targeting a GDP growth rate of at least 8%. The NA will discuss and make decisions regarding its resolutions concerning the pilot implementation of policies to resolve challenges in science, technology, and innovation as well as of special mechanisms for urban railway development in Hanoi and HCMC.

• Ngoài ra, phiên họp sẽ tập trung vào các vấn đề kinh tế và hạ tầng quan trọng, bao gồm điều chỉnh kế hoạch phát triển kinh tế-xã hội năm 2025 của đất nước, hướng đến mục tiêu tăng trưởng GDP ít nhất 8%. Quốc hội sẽ thảo luận và quyết định về các nghị quyết liên quan đến việc thí điểm thực hiện các chính sách giải quyết thách thức trong khoa học, công nghệ và đổi mới cũng như cơ chế đặc thù cho phát triển đường sắt đô thị ở Hà Nội và TP.HCM.

Other matters on the agenda cover an investment policy for Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project, special investment mechanisms for Ninh Thuan nuclear power project, an investment option for increasing charter capital of the Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC) from 2024 to 2026, and emergency measures for the renovation and reconstruction of the presidential office headquarters at No. 2 Le Thach, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.

• Các vấn đề khác trong chương trình nghị sự bao gồm chính sách đầu tư cho dự án đường sắt Lào Cai - Hà Nội - Hải Phòng, cơ chế đầu tư đặc biệt cho dự án điện hạt nhân Ninh Thuận, phương án đầu tư tăng vốn điều lệ của Tổng công ty Đầu tư phát triển đường cao tốc Việt Nam (VEC) từ năm 2024 đến 2026, và các biện pháp khẩn cấp cho việc cải tạo và tái thiết trụ sở văn phòng chủ tịch tại số 2 Lê Thạch, quận Hoàn Kiếm, Hà Nội.
