Vietnam Airlines partners with Korean firm to promote K-food in Southeast Asia

The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation to expand the presence of Korean food in Southeast Asia.
- Hãng hàng không quốc gia Vietnam Airlines đã ký biên bản ghi nhớ (MoU) với Tập đoàn Thương mại Thực phẩm và Thủy sản Hàn Quốc (Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation) nhằm mở rộng sự hiện diện của ẩm thực Hàn Quốc tại Đông Nam Á.
According to the corporation, this marks the first time the Republic of Korea's state-run enterprise has collaborated with a foreign airline to promote food exports.
- Theo tập đoàn này, đây là lần đầu tiên một doanh nghiệp nhà nước của Hàn Quốc hợp tác với một hãng hàng không nước ngoài để thúc đẩy xuất khẩu thực phẩm.
Under the MoU, the two sides will jointly introduce K-food meals on Vietnam Airlines flights.
- Theo MoU, hai bên sẽ cùng nhau giới thiệu các bữa ăn K-food trên các chuyến bay của Vietnam Airlines.
The cooperation also includes promotional activities, with Vietnam Airlines set to air Korean culinary advertisements on in-flight entertainment screens and promote K-food at airport lounges.
- Sự hợp tác này cũng bao gồm các hoạt động quảng bá, với việc Vietnam Airlines sẽ phát sóng các quảng cáo ẩm thực Hàn Quốc trên màn hình giải trí trên chuyến bay và quảng bá K-food tại các phòng chờ sân bay.
Ahead of the agreement, Vietnam Airlines had already begun trialing Korean food offerings.
- Trước khi thỏa thuận được ký kết, Vietnam Airlines đã bắt đầu thử nghiệm các món ăn Hàn Quốc.
In May and June, around 20,000 Korean melons were served on domestic business class flights. Beverages such as rice milk, soy milk, and ginseng tea were also featured on international flights between Vietnam and South Korea.
- Vào tháng 5 và tháng 6, khoảng 20.000 quả dưa vàng Hàn Quốc đã được phục vụ trên các chuyến bay hạng thương gia nội địa. Các loại đồ uống như sữa gạo, sữa đậu nành và trà nhân sâm cũng đã được giới thiệu trên các chuyến bay quốc tế giữa Việt Nam và Hàn Quốc.
