Two Delta planes collide on taxiway at New York's LaGuardia Airport

Delta said the "low-speed collision" happened when Endeavor Air Flight 5047, arriving from Charlotte, North Carolina, struck Endeavor Flight 5155, which was preparing to depart for Roanoke, Virginia. Both aircraft were operated by Delta's regional subsidiary, Endeavor Air, CBS News reported.

The Federal Aviation Administration reported that Flight 5047 was taxiing to its gate when it hit Flight 5155, which had been told by air traffic control to hold and yield. The crash occurred around 10 p.m. at the intersection of Taxiways M and A.

According to Delta, the wing of Flight 5155 made contact with the fuselage of Flight 5047. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey confirmed one flight attendant suffered a minor injury, was treated at the scene, and taken to a hospital.
