Thousands crowd Hanoi intersections hours before massive parade rehearsal

From early Thursday afternoon, sidewalks around Hanoi’s downtown Ba Dinh Ward turned into makeshift camps as families in flag shirts, conical hats, mats and raincoats claimed spots to watch the massive National Day parade rehearsal.
