Stalker sends Rafael Nadal's sister violent threats

Sebastian Moll McCarthy, a German national and frequent visitor to the Rafa Nadal Academy in Manacor, Spain, was found guilty of stalking Maribel after a trial on Sept. 21 in Majorca. McCarthy admitted to sending harassing messages and threatening her after obtaining her phone number, including a chilling comment about wanting to "taste her blood," Daily Express reported.

Court documents revealed a series of text messages in which McCarthy asked Maribel out and reacted negatively when rejected. The five-page verdict found him guilty of harassment, restricting Maribel's personal freedom and making her feel unsafe, Express reported.

Maribel had to hire a bodyguard for both work and home, and her mental health was seriously affected due to the fear of sexual assault.
