Southwest Airlines pilot arrested for drunkenness, delaying flight by 4 hours

A Southwest Airlines pilot was removed from the cockpit and arrested for drunkenness just before a flight from Georgia to Chicago, causing a four-hour delay.

David Allsop, 52, of New Hampshire, was taken into custody at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport around 7 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office, as reported by CNN.
