Singapore Airlines, subsidiary to boost Asia flights after Jetstar shutdown

Australian airline Qantas announced last week that it would shut down its loss-making budget subsidiary on July 31, citing rising operational costs, higher Changi Airport fees and intense competition, Reuters reported.
