Pregnant woman escapes boyfriend's abuse, falls from 2nd floor in Singapore

The case was heard in court in Singapore on Monday, where her boyfriend, 28-year-old Indonesian national Hans Pratignyo, pleaded guilty to one charge each of wrongful confinement, criminal intimidation, and voluntarily causing hurt.

The psychiatrist indicated that Pratignyo's condition contributed to his offenses, according to The Strait Times.

The incident occurred in Woodlands, a residential town in northern Singapore, where Hans trapped his pregnant girlfriend, a 25-year-old Indonesian woman, in his room and subjected her to violent behavior.

She broke free, climbed out of the window, and fell from the second floor, landing on her right hip. She ran to a nearby gym for help, with Pratignyo chasing after her.
