Eastar Jet to launch direct route from Busan to world's second most beautiful island

Low-cost carrier Eastar Jet announced that it will be the first among Korean airlines to launch a route between Busan and Phu Quoc, voted the world's second most beautiful island, from July 26.
- Hãng hàng không giá rẻ Eastar Jet thông báo rằng họ sẽ là hãng hàng không Hàn Quốc đầu tiên mở đường bay giữa Busan và Phú Quốc, được bình chọn là hòn đảo đẹp thứ hai thế giới, bắt đầu từ ngày 26 tháng 7.
The airline will operate the route twice a week every Wednesday and Saturday and expanded the service four times a week from Sept. 3, Business Korea reported.
- Hãng hàng không sẽ khai thác tuyến này hai lần một tuần vào mỗi thứ Tư và thứ Bảy và mở rộng dịch vụ lên bốn lần một tuần từ ngày 3 tháng 9, theo Business Korea.
An Eastar Jet representative said Phu Quoc is a particularly popular Vietnamese resort destination recently, and there have been many requests from residents in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions for a domestic airline to operate this route.

Phu Quoc has received over 775,000 foreign arrivals in the first five months of this year, up 78.3% year-on-year.
- Phú Quốc đã đón hơn 775.000 lượt khách quốc tế trong năm tháng đầu năm nay, tăng 78,3% so với cùng kỳ năm ngoái.
Voted the world's second most beautiful island by readers of Travel+Leisure magazine last year after the Maldives, Phu Quoc aims to attract 1 million foreign visitors in 2025.
