Asia's leading beach destination welcomes nearly 4 million foreign tourists in 8 months

The Philippines received nearly 4 million foreign visitors in the first eigth months of this year, nearly half of this year's 8.4-million target.

The 4-million mark is equivalent to 67% of the 5.95 million international tourist arrivals recorded last year, Esperanza Christina G. Frasco, Secretary of the Department of Tourism, said as quoted by BusinessWorld.
