10 Michelin-starred restaurants shut down in Singapore over past year

Eight one-Michelin-starred restaurants in Singapore closed last year while two more suspended operations this year, reflecting the challenges of rising costs and reduced travel spending.

The restaurants that shut down in 2024 are Art di Daniele Sperindio, Chef Kang's, Matera, Oshino, Poise, Shinji, Sommer, and Sushi Kimura, The Straits Times reported.
